To edit these program parameters, press the PROGRAM/SOUNDS

key, then select option 2 and the following screen will appear:

Each of the screen’s data fields and the soft key are explained below:

The Title line:

• The Pgm field:

This is the active program number (1-24). All data shown in the

fields below apply only to this program.

• The Note field:

All data values in the lower portion of the screen apply only to the

note number (35-98) selected in this field. For convenience, the pad

number currently assigned to the selected note number is displayed

to the right. The note number in this field can be changed either by

cursor editing or by pressing one of the front panel drum pads—the

note number currently assigned to that pad will be selected auto-

matically.

The Envel (Envelope) section:

• The Attack field:

This is the volume envelope’s attack time. There are 101 values,

exponentially spaced from 0 to 5000 milliseconds.

• The Decay field:

This is the volume envelope’s decay time. There are 101 values,

exponentially spaced from 0 to 5000 milliseconds.

• The Dcy md (decay mode) field:

This is a choice field with two options:

1. START: The decay phase of the envelope begins immedi-
