WITH PROGRAMS............................. The programs included in the multi will be saved
together with the multi (samples will not be saved).
MULTI ONLY ..................................Only the multi will be saved.
WITH NEW & MODIFIED............. Of the programs and samples included in the
multi, only those that were modified after they
were last saved or loaded will be saved.
9. If you selected WITH PROGRAMS & SAMPLES or WITH PROGRAMS in step 8,
move the cursor to the Replace same files field and turn the [JOG] dial to
specify what will happen if identically-named programs/samples exist.
YES ........................The data will be saved, overwriting the existing data.
NO..........................Data will not be saved if identically-named data exists.
10. To execute the Save operation, press the [F5] key (DO IT).
The multi will be saved in the folder you specified. If you selected other than MULTI
ONLY in step 8, the corresponding programs/samples will be saved in the same level.
To save two or more multis
11. To save two or more multis, press the [F5] key (MULTIPLE) following step 6.
The Save Multi Multis popup window will appear, allowing you to select the multis that
will be saved.
A Replace same multis field
Specifies what will happen if an identically-named multi exists in the save-destination.
B Save field
Specifies how the programs/samples included in the multis will be saved.
C Replace same files field
Specifies what will happen if identically-named programs or samples exist in the
save-destination.
D [F1] key (CANCEL)
Closes the popup window.
E [F3] key ( TAGGED)
Saves all multis that are tagged in the Tag field.
F [F4] key (*MODIFY)
Saves all multis that are marked by a * symbol.
G [F5] key (ALL)
Saves all multis that are in the MPC4000’s internal memory.
12. As necessary, move the cursor to each field in the Save Multiple Multis popup
window, and make the desired settings.
The contents of each field are the same as when saving an individual multi.
13. According to the type of multis you want to save, press one of the [F3]
( TAGGED)–[F6] (ALL) keys.
The selected multis will be saved in the same level of the storage device.
