MANUAL TRIGGER
What is Manual Trigger?
The Manual Trigger is to control the cut-off/resonance by triggering the Envelope manually pressing the
TRIGGER key at the desired point.
The Manual Trigger triggers the Envelope only when the TRIGGER key is pressed, not like the Envelope
being triggered cyclically by the Groove Modulator with the specified timing of BEAT module.
Triggering Envelope with Manual Trigger
First, you need to decide what to control with the
Envelope, by pressing the CUTOFF key, RESO
key or both.
Press the TRIGGER key.
When the key is pressed, the Envelope is
triggered on and it’s triggered off as you release
the key.
The shape of Envelope is as set by the A/D/S/R
knobs and its depth by the DEPTH knob.
Note: When the TRIGGER key is pressed while
the Groove Modulator is controlling the cut-off/resonance, the control is cancelled (LFO/ENVELOPE key
off) and the Envelope is triggered. Press the LFO/ENVELOPE key again to resume the control by the
Groove Modulator.
Controlling Cut-off on Mono and Stereo channels simultaneously
It is required that the signals are available on both the MONO IN and STEREO IN inputs and their signals
are fed through the filter modules (x-POLE keys are lit).
Link function
Pressing the LINK key (key is lit) enables the cut-off control of both Mono and Stereo channels simultaneously
with the CUTOFF knob on the Mono channel.
Turn the LINK key on.
Now rotate the CUTOFF knob on the Mono channel. The sound of Mono and Stereo channels change
simultaneously. The CUTOFF knob on the Stereo channel has no effect while the Link function is on.
While the ADSR settings are as shown and
applied to Cutoff, pressing the TRIGGER key to trigger
Envelope makes the cutoff frequency to change as il-
lustrated.
