Chapter 6: Creating and Editing Programs
Page 110
How to create a program
To create a program, either copy an existing program and modify it, or
start a new one:
1. Load in from disk the sounds you intend to use in the program.
2. If you want to change the note number assignments for any of the
pads, press the MIDI key and select option 1.
3. For each pad you want to assign to a sound, select that pad’s note
number in the “Select Programs, Assign Sounds” screen and assign it
to the desired sound and sound assignment mode. This screen is
accessed by pressing the SOUNDS key and selecting option 1.
4. If desired, modify the default settings for envelope, velocity
modulation, tuning, poly mode, or cutoff assignments. These are
accessed by selecting option 2 from the SOUNDS key menu.
5. If desired, adjust the stereo or individual output/echo send mixes by
pressing the DRUM MIX key and selecting the appropriate option.
