Chapter 7: The MIXER/EFFECTS Key
• The Pan field.
This is the current pan position for the selected sound within the
stereo mix. The range is 50L to C to 50R. This is the same param-
eter set by the graphic pan control in the Stereo Mix screen.
The Indiv Out section:
• The Volume field:
This is the volume for the selected sound at the individual outputs
or at the effects generator input. This is the same parameter set by
the graphic volume slider in the Individual Outputs/Effects Mixer
screen.
• The Output select field:
This is the selected sound’s assignment to the individual outputs or
the effects generator. This is the same parameter set by the output
assignment in the Individual Outputs/Effects Mixer screen. It is a
choice field with 10 selections:
OFF The sound has no output assignment.
OUT1 The sound is sent to individual output 1.
OUT2 The sound is sent to individual output 2.
OUT3 The sound is sent to individual output 3.
OUT4 The sound is sent to individual output 4.
OUT5 The sound is sent to individual output 5.
OUT6 The sound is sent to individual output 6.
OUT7 The sound is sent to individual output 7.
OUT8 The sound is sent to individual output 8.
EFCT The sound is sent to the internal effects
generator.
If the sound being adjusted is a stereo sound, then the available
selections are different:
OFF The sound has no output assignment.
1+2 The left side of the sound is sent to individual output
1 and the right side is sent to individual output 2.
3+4 The left side of the sound is sent to individual output
3 and the right side is sent to individual output 4.
5+6 The left side of the sound is sent to individual output
5 and the right side is sent to individual output 6.
7+8 The left side of the sound is sent to individual output
7 and the right side is sent to individual output 8.
EFCT Both sides of the sound are sent to the internal
effects generator.
• The Follow ster vol(Follow stereo volume) field:
This is a choice field with two options:
1. YES:
The level of the Individual Outputs/Effects send is made
proportional to the stereo volume. Therefore, all changes
to the stereo mix volume for the selected sound will also
change the level sent to the individual outputs or effects.
This is similar to the Post Fader Echo Send function on
