TheMPAA rating systemusesthe Motion PictureAssociationof America (MPAA)system,and its main application is

for movies.When the V-Chiplock is on, the TVwill automatically blockany programsthat are coded with abiection_

able ratings(eitherMPAA or TV-Ratings}.

Pressthe Menu button. Move the joystick up or

down to select "Function", then press the joystick

to enter.

to select"MPAA Rating," pressthe ioystick to enter.

The "MPAA rating" screenwill appear. MPAA category.

Moving the joystick up or down will cycle through the

MPAA categories:

G General audience (no restrictions).

While a particular category is seiected, move the joystick to the right ta activate it.

A selected letter ('U" or "B'} v,,'iJJbe displayed. Move the joystick up or down to seiect "U" or"B'.

Move the joystick to the right to save the settings.

Note: The V-Chip wiJJautomatically block any category that is "more restrictive." For example,

if you block the "PG-13" category, then "Ri' "NC_I 7," and "X" wiJJautomatically be blocked also.
