Finish your arrangement and convert it into a long SONG
Sequence in Song Mode.
In MAIN screen, turn 'OFF' Loop to prevent the sequence
from starting all over again after recording mutes!
Switch over to the Track Mute Screen by pressing the
[TRACK MUTE] Button on your MPC 1000.
Select the track(s) you want to Solo or Mute at the
beginning of the recording.
Press [PLAY]+[REC] or [OVER DUB] to start recording
the track mutes/ solos.
Punch in or out the tracks you want to hear or mute
during recording.
To erase recorded track mute events, press the ERASE
Button on your MPC while on the Track Mute screen; the
ERASE window opens: select the track(s) and/ or positi-
on you want to remove track mutes from and press [DO
IT] (F5). Make sure 'TRACK MUTE' is selected in the
'Erase' eld as shown left! Done.
n Recordable Track Mutes
One of the simple but great additions to the MPC
1000 features is the possiblility to easily record and
delete Track Mutes with the JJ OS! To make use of
recordable Track Mutes, do the following:
Turn Loop OFF
Select Track(s)
Delete Track Mutes
