You can record the effect created with the Q-Link sliders
as usual.
Also, you can manually apply/ edit it inside the grid:
press [REC] or [OVER DUB]. Move the locator along the
timeline with the DATA wheel while using the Q-Link
sliders to create a curve or whatever.
In this example – tune set as parameter – Q2 controls
the tune beneath the 0-Line and Q1 controls everything
above it. To ne tune your settings, highlight the 'EVENT'
eld with p and turn the DATA wheel to change the
value.
To delete Events, hold [DELETE] (F4) and move the
locator with the DATA wheel.

n Using Q-Link Sliders in Grid Edit (MIDI)
In MIDI Grid, you can also use the Q-Link Sliders to add certain parameters to a MIDI event in realtime.
Using the Q-Link Sliders, you can control Pitch Bend, Control Change, Channel Pressure, as well as Poly
Pressure. To record/ edit Q-Link parameters for MIDI Events, do the following:

Press Mode + [Pad 15]. Set track type to MIDI and
press [CONTROL] (F2). The display above the Grid and
the vertical axis on the grid changes.
Press p to enter the eld above the Grid.
Turn the DATA wheel to assign the parameter you
want to control with the Q-Link Sliders. The following
parameters/ effects are available:
PITCH BEND: (Q1,2: -8192 – +8191)
CTRL CHANG: (Q1,2: 0-127)
CH. PRESS: (Q1,2: 0-127)
POLY PRESS: (Q1,2: 0-127)
The actual value of a slider's position is displayed in the
'Q1,2' eld once you move the slider(s).
Depending on the parameter you choose, the vertical
axis representing these values can take two forms (see
left).
Recording, editing and deleting Q-Link Events in MIDI
Grid Edit works exactly the same way as in the Drum
Grid (see point 07 on top of this page)! To ne tune the
settings for Pitch Bend and Channel Pressure, move the
Cursor to the 'EVENT' eld and turn the DATA Wheel.
